Together with Thoma+Schekorr, Agentur für Design und Markenentwicklung we came up with a clear briefing for the new website from the very beginning. All content as well as all wireframes were already there when we started the project and that saved a lot of time in the technical implementation process. Individual backend management, expert SEO optimization and quick implementation of additional features were of particular importance to the customer. Welance and Thoma+Schekorr together presented Escriba with a choice of CMS systems, with Escriba in return making a clear verdict for Wordpress as the basic system, supported by the MVC framework Timber and individual backend functions.
All major content of the Escriba Document Software can be accessed via a modern Onepage home page. Topically related comedy videos, lazy-load effects as well as an SVG Animation of the three main software advantages of the Escriba services are the main elements of the home page. From there, the user can delve deeper and find case studies and further services or use the contact page. The website is wholly responsive and uses reduced effects for mobile applications. To measure and optimize conversion rates goals google analytics were defined.
The corporate identity of Escriba is based on fresh green colours, background patterns and images with multiply effects. In order to accomplish the difficulty of the cross browser realization we had to extent image display settings for Wordpress. Now, we have reached an excellent result in even older browser versions for IE, too. Images with certain elements will be automatically generated and saved which also includes the multiply effect. Even all other images will be saved in optimized sizes and will not need the incorporation of Photoshop.
For every project we combine the best freelancers from the welance network. The consistent incorporation of online tools such as GIT and VOIP enables remote work with improved efficiency. We have coordinated three talented freelancers from Berlin, Barcelona & Italy for this project. Alongside the technical project management, we have executed the front- & backend web development, training and content migration.
