The site "Ihre Gesundheitsprofis" comprises a growing number of health and medical aids and appliances companies and services. Together, they strive to offer their customers the best possible support in living an active life, and to keep healthy in the process.
The shop’s clear layout features over 50 categories for its products and services, ranging from mobility, health and well-being to rehab technologies and everyday appliances.
Many special features are of great added value to the user. The products are presented in a clear and visually pleasant manner. Extensive background information on the products within the site, as well as links with an online magazine discussing general health topics have proven useful as well. A flyout navigation tool helps to get a really quick overview of the categories and can also be used for advertising selected products.
Welance have been with the e-commerce platform since its beginnings in 2014. We are responsible for technical implementation and support and have programmed a number of innovative customer modules, such as an optimized branch finder, an individualized tool for inventory, and an easy-to-handle slider management.
Two to three of our most experienced team members take care of the everyday support for the site. When necessary, we bring in additional experts from within our network. Apart from designing, implementing and templating the site, we also found the right online marketing and SEO professionals for the job.
The Varnish-Crawler-module, a special Varnish setup, as well as other wide-ranging technical adjustments have created quick loading times and above-average performance. The use of ESI blocks means that only individual customer data are drawn from the server. All other data are pre-built and ready to be delivered. The processing resources saved in this way prevent costly hiccups and the system is not exhausted when customer volume is high.
Most companies use customized inventory management systems. These systems are at the very technical core of large online shops, for example, and store customer and product data. There are pre-built extensions for most systems, but in this case there was no click-and-go option available. Thanks to our years of experience in incorporating third party systems, we managed to seamlessly integrate the inventory tool “SaniVision” into the Magento-based shop. Customer data and product orders as well as delivery tracking data, partial orders and order cancellations are transmitted directly into the Magento-Shop. Each of the systems is always up to date and the customer gets quick status updates in his inbox.
Next to the website, “Ihre Gesundheitsprofis” also have a network of over 60 medical supply stores spread all over Germany. The online map incorporated in the site allows for a search via postcode, city or particular branch, so that the user has the quickest access possible to location and contact details of the branch in question.
