We created a new navigational structure that simplifies the presentation of the various topics. The user now finds what he or she needs a lot faster. An intelligent linking system groups topics in a simple manner and is easy to edit.
Overview sites for a wide range of products, a data base for training and related courses, a search option for timber dealers, a timber lexicon as well as a wide range of other useful information are part of the GD Holz’s new web presence.
The search for dealers and for trainings is administered with GD Holz’s central system. We planned and implemented the technical integration into the new CMSWordpress. The imported data are constantly renewed so that quick backend processing is guaranteed.
A responsive design makes sure the content is displayed as best as possible on each of the different mobile devices available today, making the site attractive for a wide range of users.
When planning and implementing complex projects we use Timber. This way, we can differentiate between programming and templating by modern methods, where usually code and markup is intermingled in Wordpress templates. By incorporating Twig as well, designer and developer work in their own separate files. A clean template structure and a well-arranged and easily run project is the result.
For every project we combine the best freelancers from the welance network. The consistent incorporation of online tools such as GIT and VOIP enables remote work with improved efficiency. We have coordinated four talented freelancers from Berlin for this project. Alongside the technical project management, we have executed the front- & backend web development, conception and training.
